I was worried because many people have been complaining about it being laggy in a 4S. So it's just for the first moments?
In the Music app. You need to be connected to Wifi.

For a little bit, since the phone is doing a ton of background processes and getting used to iOS. It runs really well though afterwards. I turned off background app refresh since it takes up your battery life. But it has everything the iPhone 5 has except for Airdrop. They even included the live camera filters.

Apple isn't pushing out App updates to lessen the burden on their servers... if you know an app has an update you can search it up and update it manually...
