I don't think anyone said that it didn't warrant a response though. If they are, shame on them.
It's just the mediums she chose to "expose" the drama on and the timing that is being called into question because it's
suspicious. Why does she choose to explode multiple times in the past few days if this has been occurring for so very long? Like she referred to a text she got MONTHS ago at first, why didn't she say something then? Why is she suddenly unaware of how to send a direct message on Twitter so the public wouldn't be exposed to this? ESPECIALLY after saying "you shouldn't be burdened with this, just enjoy the music i'm a fighter!"
Perez absolutely deserves punishment for harassing her. No one deserves this kind of ****. But we all know she's not so stupid to only see one response to this situation, especially if it's been on her mind for a while. He
is a journalist, it is his main job to get exclusives, to be there when **** goes down. He is
known for being beat down by Will I Am's manager and not fighting back because he's super anti-violence (ironically).
He's a vile, disgusting pig & makes MORE money off things like this - I bet you he's getting a LOT more page views right now. If she ignored his existence and simply re-positioned security & talked to the building's management, she'd be safe, he'd get less attention AND she wouldn't look even *more* desperate. You don't fuel your stalker's obsession. You quietly, nonchalantly tame it. If he was a TRUE STALKER, her security would be looking out for him, undoubtedly. She clearly wasn't trying to keep it a secret so why wouldn't they be informed. Why wasn't the building/her security told to look out for him in particular if he was such a regular problem?
Gaga's reaction is strange for someone we believe to be of high intelligence. Why did she not just read the tweet, send her security to grab a picture before he realized what was happening, and then call the cops, for example? She risked tipping him off by broadcasting a tweet like that. Like let's look at it this way - we're assuming Gaga was so extremely uncomfortable/scared for her physical being that this completely warranted such a panic attack - right?
We're missing the fact then, that she literally was about to send a fan into what she thought was a potentially dangerous situation. Mother Monster loves her fans so much that her first reaction was to send a loving fan into what she viewed to be a threatening position instead of sending a bunch of her body guards to do their JOB. That is *weird*.
Let me confirm - totally believe Gaga should have reacted, if not sooner. But her reaction is extremely puzzling. And that's why I believe that a part of her wants your attention. She needs you to be talking about this right now. I don't doubt that she's uncomfortable. But what an erratic reaction. She might not be thinking of sales, but it is definitely a "think of me! Woe is me!" moment.
tl;dr: we'll never know WHY she reacted that way, so it is unfair to assume she's simply a media ***** - but at the same time, her reaction was downright overboard and stupid. we all know that the media is being rough on her right now, so it's not too much of a reach to assume she might be looking for some sympathy. "the fame monster", after all. she keeps on trying to hit home with the "I like to perform" message but some of you don't seem to realize that isn't synonymous with "I like to be real & chill out, hate attention and drama".
