Beyonce and ha George W. Bush accent was NEVER considered for Wonder Woman. She expressed her interest in the role, that was it.
Quote:
Just to throw something else out there -- when casting for a live-action Wonder Woman, I've always thought of Beyoncé. I just think she'd look fantastic in the part and be able to pull off the grace and confidence I think of when I think of Wonder Woman. I also mocked up a shot of Jennifer Hudson (from her recent album cover) as the Amazon Princess which Phil Jimenez posted on his Facebook wall (to very mixed reviews). One of my pitches involves Wonder Woman's soul inhabiting the body of a Beyoncé-type -- a young girl given the powers of Wonder Woman and what she would do with those powers.
Sisses, Geez' post already gives a well thought out point as to why Jan wins but also why it's not a complete fatality like with Pink and Ke$ha. Everything since then (besides a few Bees) has been for the lulz.
Why so serious?

And I'm just having fun killing time until Grey's comes up for download.
But it's clear none of you really know what it means to be iconic. Being iconic is not about charts, it's not about awards, it's not about sales. It's about a recognizable "image" the general public associates with you. Janet has been giving icon since she was in her 20s.
The "It's Janet, Ms. Jackson if you're nasty" line has integrated itself into pop culture.

People are still quoting this line 26 years later.
Then Janet's most iconic work to date is STILL being parodied:
Happy Feet 2
Stereo Rhythm performs RN on X-Factor USA
And that's not even all of iconic images that era produced.
Years later, Janet matched herself with the iconic Rolling Stone cover:
Which was later parodied MANY times over including a president's daughter herself:
Then yet again Janet created the iconic, and still the most expensive video to date, "Scream", which later gave birth to the futuristic and space video trend:
Even the most controversial moment in sports history produced another iconic image:

It's such a shame that many of you are so blind to what this woman has done. I love Beyonce, and the reality is that the only iconic thing she's done to date is "Single Ladies". Continuing to let Janet's last three albums perpetuate your ignorance of Janet's impact will only make you look stupid at the end of the day.
The Grammy's presented the "Recording Academy's Governors Award" in 2002 to Janet.
So she didnt get a REAL special award!? Hers isnt even listed as one.

Does Forbes have a list of the most ICONIC ARTISTS OF ALL TIME?
They had a list of the world's most powerful black women, ones that have influence on the WORLD. Beyonce made the list along with Michelle Obama and a couple others.
Janet sadly did not make
the only thing i could possibly be wrong about is the Lifetime Achievement Awards, only because i'm not sure and if wiki doesnt have an awards page for Janet, i wont be searching
DEATH @ Janet stealing B's ICONIC "I'LL SHOW YOU CRAZY" line for her Tyler Perry movie "Why Did We Get Married 2"
Hew else influences the icons?
I can't @ you thinking one of the most used phrases like "i'll show you crazy" is something Beyonce coined. (With that logic, Britney did it first with Womanizer). Its up there with "over my dead body" "that can be arranged" and other common film quotes.
