According to the 30 year old’s label, Universal Republic, Rowland will be electrifying the Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage on September 26th as part of the show’s long-running Concert Series.
Of the many cuts the Destiny’s Child alumni will perform, expect to see her rock out new single ‘Lay It On Me’ – the video for which is finally being shot in Los Angeles this weekend.

Granted ‘Lay It On Me’ is gradually picking up on radio, everything from the Kimmel gig to the video shoot couldn’t come sooner. For no matter which way it’s spun, the video for ‘Motivation’ came out a whopping 5 months ago. 5 months! A period which which has seen only two televised performances and no other videos.
Still, it says something when a song can still go Platinum under those circumstances (with it’s follow-up looking promising too). As such, we can only hope the situation continues to improve fr Ms. Rowland.
