Doug Morris finally went into office after his little 2-week vacation. Morris is the CEO of Sony. The CEO of RCA is Peter Edge, who has been working unlike Morris, hehe. Well I would think that we'd get news late this week or next week. Most likely late next week. If KC's gonna have a single out next month, I would think they'd finally release a press release about it or something.

She has a show coming up. She's doing a concert in Canada Aug. 6 for some charity thing.

Nope. the first single HAS NOT been confirmed yet. However LMD, one of the first few leaks, is still currently played by some radio stations. and yep DS is awesome, love the production and her vocals on the bridge part slay me!

So while we along with KC wait for her first single off album 5, she's still setting records. Kelegend The cool thing is DYWS is selling 20K+ per week! That's awesome!! I'm sure with Kelly's new single coming up and the country award shows that will increase digital sales even more!

I just feel like this will be a great era for KC and her crew!!

Shall we start making bets as to when the single will be released? lol Late Aug/Sept. I think it would be cool if they released it Sept. 4 (it's a Sunday) on itunes. That just so happens to be Kelly's 9th anniversary of winning AI. Wow it's been 9 years. Where has the time gone? I remember watching the first episode and thinking pfft they're not gonna find someone good and then a few weeks later KC finally sang on camera and blew me away!

I know! Considering it was supposed to be released fall of LAST year... the wait has been ridiculous! But I've been here this long and I can see a little fire in Kelly's eyes. This is the longest break she's had since Idol. I think this just made her want it even more and to just bring it next era! I for one cannot wait for her to come back swinging!!
