They didn't purposefully give her noms for attention. They gave her noms because she deserves them for single-handedly changing the music video world this year. I can't help that GaGa gets tons of attention no matter where she goes, but that's not
why MTV nominated her so many times. Even if she attended the award show with no nominations, the attention would still be all on her.....so no.
All of GaGa's videos made huge impact...so I dunno why you're acting like they didn't.

You use Justin Bieber's YouTube video views and sales in your excuse as to why he got snubbed, yet GaGa has over
1 BILLION internet video views and has outsold Justin Bieber by a landslide and yet you are saying that her nominations are
only for attention for MTV. Right......you can't say that Justin deserves to be nominated because of his success and then say GaGa doesn't deserve it when she's had FAR MORE success than that boy.
Besides, the VMA nominations aren't based on success....they're based on the video.
Ciara didn't deserve any nominations, nothing she did this year was even relevant. The only thing Justin might have deserved another nomination in is Best Male, but it's not like he's really
that talented......he's still a brand new artist.
Rihanna might have deserved a couple more also, but it's not as if she revolutionized the music video this year with her videos.......that was Lady GaGa.
