LOL at ya'll trying to throw her numbers into the trash. These are BILLBOARD numbers, you know when ya'll were sneering at Pollstar's grosses, it was always "Let's wait for Billboard". And now they come out and are even higher, ya'll are trying to question them
Ya'll just can't admit that Katy is destroying in singles, albums and tours. These are amazing numbers (and it's even better that her lowest among US dates is only $1.4m.) Ya'll need to get off your high horses. Ya'll have no proof that Billboard numbers are wrong (except from completely pressed accusations which ya'll threw at the first US dates too). If Billboard is wrong, they'll correct them later. Did they do it for the first set? No. It's unlikely they'll do it for the second then.
You also have NO confirmation whatsoever that they are either including the VIP Packages, or that they don't do it for anyone else. If you cannot accept Katy's numbers, then you better not front any other numbers for any other artist as receipts. You cannot pick and choose. Billboard is either reliable or unreliable. Make your choice and deal with it.
I'm so happy she's slaying.

2 million would be right if all tickets were 165 and 105. How many sections were 165 and 105?

Chill.
No one said the numbers were fake, people are just saying they probably included VIP tickets. Just chill, really.

Props to whoever is reporting these shows but you guys have to admit something is off a little
adding all to OP shortly, if a Katy Cat wants to add up the totals before I get to it it's much appreciated

I don't know why people are attacking you when you bring up a perfectly good point. In order to gross $2,047,284 from 13,846 people, the average ticket price would have had to have been $147.86, but her average price was $90.25 according to the numbers given. These numbers are basically saying that every ticket sold was sold at $147.86 or higher... which simply isn't the case when the numbers say there were tickets for sale as low as $30 with $147.86 being on the higher end (closer to the stage, GA).
You know if this were any other pop girl, the numbers would be questioned and there'd be about ten threads opened up for it. I'm not sure how the gross ended up being practically doubled, but I'm not surprised since Katy's team has always been shady.
The other numbers, though. Great.

Of course not and good for her and Billboards numbers will always be final in this thread and in any reference to the tour, but obviously there is some form of inflation going on
|
Unless you know how many tickets were sold at each price you cant say the numbers are being inflated. For all we know she may be offering just a couple of hundreds of the cheapest priced tickets.

Oh please. I'm tired of the "if this was any other pop girl" argument. Stop vicitimizing yourselves.
If Gaga and Beyonces gross don't included VIP tickets, then that sounds like a Gaga and Beyoncé problem. Also, by definition it's an excuse.
I don't see anywhere on Billboard about "average ticket price". Billboard maybe be weird a times but they are always consistent and reliable. Hence why they are the official source.

For example her MSG shows average ticket price was $147, yet only one out of the 4 ticket tiers was above $147
$165.50, $105.50, $60.50, $29.50

I've taken a statistics class. If the highest tier is above the average, then the average is possible.
There could be just many more options for the $165.5 than before.

Honestly out of all these boxscores and ****, they're all not making sense anymore These boxscore should be detailed on everything and not just all the pop girls but everyone else.
