I am a bit confused about this radio thing. Pop radio can play the song regardless or it must be sent to them in order to play it? If they sent it to pop radios is there a chance that it's gonna hurt XO's run?

They can play it if they want. But most stations don't until the label gives them confirmation that it's the next single. XO could hurt this on pop IMO.
