Finally, Taylor is not #1 and it took the power of Tove Lo's amazing album to get Habits to go high on top. Will it stay high? Habits is such a great song that gives us what's Tove Lo's style and the idea of her album on what to expected and going to be like. I see Timebomb #1 for non-Singles. What an exploding song that is. I see Far Side of the Moon. Love that song, one of my faves from Tinashe's album, which is also amazing. The rest of the countdown is good.

This song was released a long, LONG time ago in Canada, but waited months to smash here in the States (and other areas.) I heard it before it came out and thought it was cute, but nothing too special. But then it blew up in the US, and it happened at just the right time: Summer. It was the absolute bop and went so perfectly hand-in-hand with the season/weather/etc. I loved the whole feel of the song and the reggae-inspired vibe it had, but without going too overboard and still being mainstream enough for the GP to love. It did an amazing job on the countdown, even with only one short-lived week at #1, it spent 17/20 weeks in the top 10, and made an impressive rebound in week 3 when it was at the edge of the top 10, but then made its start in the top 5. It's an amazing track and one of the most memorable ones of the year.
