I don't understand you would want to change your username entirely. You already established yourself with the username you have. If you change it, you would feel like a new member again. Basically starting all over again. That's just my opinion.

I don't get it. If we can legally change our birth names in real life, what is the problem with changing usernames in an online forum?

But isn't refiling all your paperwork to reflect your name change infinitely harder than a software simply moving all your account info to your new username?
