WOW, Rihanna has her first #1. I kind of expected the "SOS" to go to #2 seeing as Powter had such a strong hold on the top spot but I guess she defeated the odds. Congratulations! - Nick Lachey (solo) is now tied with Jessica Simpson on the amount of Top 10 hits...1 lol. "What's Left Of Me" is an excellent ballad. - Fort Minor is approaching the Top 10 at a fast pace with "Where'd You Go." What a freaking awesome chart this week....

Nick Lachey "What's Left Of Me" at #6!!!!!!! I had hoped that this would go top 10 eventually but I had no idea, even with the surge in downloads, that this would blow up so quickly! It's an awesome song, and he is starting to step out from the shadow of his soon to be ex-wife (although I could've cared less about him just like the rest of the world before he put this hot song out)....

Shakira "Hips Don't Lie" at #19! This is massive for an airplay-only track. When the single is released to iTunes on May 9th, I expect that it will fly to #1, following Rihanna's trajectory (congrats to her btw, not my favorite song but I can't knock her success)! I think it would be amazing for Shakira to have a #1 single in America

Nelly Furtado "Promiscuous" - I love seeing that this was bubbling under BEFORE it went for adds... I know many of us at ATRL have been talking about how this project is going to blow up for her... and it looks like it's coming into fruition now! I would be disappointed if this did not go at least top 10.

It's amazing how Shakira jumped 8 spots this week and into the Top 20 on airplay alone. That's a huge jump when you consider practically every song around the Top 30 is on there because of the inclusion of downloads and airplay. Rihanna's "SOS" had hit a wall at #30 and dropped down to #34 until this week when it was finally released onto iTunes.

Hopefully when "HDL" does get released to iTunes it will go straight to the top.
