I need to listen to both albums. The first has the most addictive song of the year and a "flopped single so far". The second has one of the best pop singles of the year and one of the most annoying songs, in my opinion! Curious set! Can't wait for next!

ALBUM REVIEW:
Up next is One Direction once more this time with their debut effort for Up All Night. There's no denying, this boy band is everywhere this 2012 and I must say I really enjoyed each of their releases that's why Up All Night is so high in my list. The album is filled majority of fun pop which talks about having fun and relationships similar to their sophomore effort. The breakout hit What Makes You Beautiful started it all as One Direction captured so many hearts with this successful hit. The underrrated second single Gotta Be You is next as the boys sings about asking for one more try to work things out. One of the standout tracks of the album One Thing is probably my most favorite track for a very long time. It did very well in the charts expect in the US where it really underperformed. More Than This is the fourth single where it is about an unrequited love while the title track is about partying the entire night. The latter also mentions Katy Perry in the lyrics. A more upbeat take on the fourth track of the album is I Wish while the Kelly Clarkson penned track Tell Me A Lie comes next. Heartbreak and relationships are the theme of Taken while materialistic girls are what the boys are singing to on I Want. One Direction continues to sing about girls on Everything About You; makes some realizations on Same Mistakes and comes to rescue on Save You Tonight. The record ends with Stole My Heart which is about being in love at first sight. Just like what I stated in my previous review, this year marked the resurrection of the boy band fever. You cannot deny that the fever all started with One Direction. Up All Night paved the way for their rise to stardom and I guess we will see more of them in probably around three to five years from now.

One Direction is pretty basic IMO, but my best friends love them so I have to deal with them all the time
However, One Thing isn't completely horrendous.
Excited to see what your top 2 will be
