Oh Ryan! I finally got around to watching Star Wars! And whew!
Great story. I love that it used the first (and best movie) as a template with a revamped storyline. It felt both reminiscent and like a new experience.
One thing they could have done better is chosen a more attractive black actor.
I don't the less attractive version of Denzel going far.
Glad you liked it!
And BYE John is HOT. I need a shirtless scene ASAP.

yea he was definitely the weak link of the film. His character tries too hard to look relateable too
The only thing you can fault Star Wars TFA for is the fact that the plot is in many ways just a slight variation from multiple plot lines from the original trilogy. And of course the
terribly predictable death of Han
Otherwise it was perfect
2 major global hits, one of them producing an iconic pop culture moment at the VMA's and then the other producing an iconic video . Bangerz sold on par with other big pop girl releases of the time too so yea "commercial success"
Just because your music dips over into white people listening doesn't mean you are catering to white people.
Of course, some white people are going to hear R&B and Rap songs. So is Fetty Wap catering to white people since day 1?
I'm saying that he has white fans as well and that his demographic isn't solely consistent of the urban demographic, especially considering he peaked during Exclusive, which smashed based off of With You and Forever, two pop songs.
He has fans in the urban demographic, but ones in the white one as well, which is why he managed to get hits, plain and simple.

I'm so excited for the next film because I know it won't be the retread (not in a bad way) that TFA is. Rian Johnson is going to do some incredibly cool and shocking things and I can't wait.
