Miley Cyrus and Breaking Bad are separated by 13 points on Metacritic but they share one fundamental quality: they are both white supremacist appropriation fantasies where a white person enters a world dominated by people of colour (black women twerking and latino meth producers) and profits from it at a far greater level than any person of colour while avoiding the negative stigmas usually attached to those activities because of their white privilege (uneducated and low class in case of twerking, inherently criminal and devoid of morals/values in case of meth prodcution).
