I think the biggest thing that went wrong with their relationship was time and attention. Britney wanted to start settling down soon and have a family, but Justin didn't want that at that moment. He was being primed to go solo and that's what he had his heart settled on. He probably became more focused and into his career than his relationship; the distance probably didn't help them and Britney started to feel neglected and unloved, so she turned to someone who's around her constantly in Wade while on tour (DWAD).
Wade tells Justin the details and a fight breaks out. Do you remember how they reconciled after the breakup? Come to find out, Justin was playing her with the reconciliation. He needed Britney's okay to make the music he wanted that was about her because Jive wasn't going to let him do it unless she gave the okay. Not knowing the severity of how far he would go, I mean it's the guy you've known since you were 12 and have been the best of friends till y'all dated. You would think he wouldn't do her wrong, so when CMAR music video dropped, she was shocked and felt betrayed. He then went to radios and interviews talking about specifics of their sex life, making a mockery of Britney and their past relationship. THAT pissed me off.
Britney's life spiraled out of control after that. She turned to partying as a distraction and made mistakes along the way with the vegas wedding, bad Fred Durst friendship, and drinking. Her aunt's condition continued to worsen and her parents decided to divorce. Her life was falling apart all around her and there seemed to be no ending. She finally found Kevin, who she courted for a fling. Over time she thinks about how bad she wanted a family of her own, so she convinces Kevin to marry her and her dream was becoming a reality...or so she thought. I think Britney thought she could change Kevin's party ways, but that clearly wasn't going to happen. She rebelled against everyone's opinion about their relationship and her career. She at first refused to sign a prenup, but thankfully Lynn got through to her and it was done. She fired Larry and decided to take the reigns of her own career.
The media's scrutiny intensified once Sean was here. She wasn't able to make mistakes that a new mother could make without the world watching and condemning her each step along the way. She has a little breakdown and goes to the media for an interview to ask people to respect her boundaries and let her be. Public's response, mock her and slam her only worsening her fragile mindset. Slowly her marriage falls apart before her eyes, but she refused to pull the trigger and have the world say, "WE TOLD YOU SO." Not to mention her aunt's longest battle with cancer finally comes to an end. This was a woman whom Britney considered a second mother to her. That crushed Britney! Eventually, she files for a divorce and hires Larry again to help kickstart her career again, but slowly we see a shift in her mental state and bad decisions were made (making the wrong type of friends and such). Her breakdown I won't even go into because that'll take forever for me to type. lol
Honestly, I think Justin played a larger role in how her life spiraled out of control than what people think.

It's weird to think about what would've happened had he not done all of that to her. He even wrote a song about her long after their breakup called What Goes Around Comes Around. Which is just weird & unsympathetic to me from top to bottom. Like how can you care & love somebody or so long then turn around and do something so evil. I get that he was hurt yada yada yada. But there is a point where you have to stop & think about how those actions are affecting the other person. Like come the f on. If she truly was out to hurt him she would've responded much harshly to his Cry Me a River song & video.
I don't remember it fully since I was 9 when they broke up. That's the only part I paid attention to. But, now that I think about it I do remember rumors of them getting back together etc. But then it turned out to be a lie. Now that I see it. It's just like wow to me. Like imagine someone you loved for so many years to do that to you. It's sad to even think about especially with the medium he had where one sentence spread at the speed of light. Like using a look a like is enough, but to play out how a breakup went is just too ****ing much for me.
Yeah that's true, people don't fully realize how big of an impact he had on her life. He was her first love, first time, first heartbreak, first kiss etc. Then after all of the time she spent with him & loved him he turned around on her and spilled everything that ever happened between them. Which is a ki seeing as he said he would always love her in his Diane Sawyer interview. But, anyway it damaged her trust in people extremely. Then she saw this glimmer of hope in the people that only seemed to bring negativity into her life. Because she wanted to feel understood and loved maybe.
Now jump to 2008 during her interview in For the Record where she said she didn't know what to do with herself after the breakup with Justin. Since he had such a huge part of her life. Which some people don't realize. Like yeah I think them getting back together would be sweet & a fairytale ending. But then I think about all those past memories that would come back for her it would be a relationship based on pain. Even if they got over that it would still have those moments of had you not left me none of this would've happened etc. I always wondered if Justin watched FTR to be quite honest. Because during that whole breakdown I never saw an ounce of empathy from him (correct me if I'm wrong). All I saw was negativity like him singing the lyrics "I think she's crazy" or that picture of him shaving his head after Britney did it. Something just seems so off about him, maybe it did have the same impact on his life, but he just controlled it better or whatever. And, his relationships after Britney have all been flops.
Ugh, I need Britney to make an Original Doll album & tell all now. After everything she went through it would be the most incredible thing to hit the entertainment industry. Even people that think she's a joke would have to take note. Britney doesn't get the credit he truly deserves and I know OD could do it for her.

"What Goes Around, Comes Around" was supposedly written about his best friend's ex-girlfriend and I actually believe it. Justin has said some good things about Britney after the Justified era. He mentioned on Oprah how she literally is the sweetest person you will ever meet and he defended her when the press was on her about being a new mother making mistakes. The thing is though, he's a walking contradiction, after he would say something positive about her, he goes and says or does something completely asshole-ish. Justin's arrogance is his biggest flaw, he does well with hiding it at times and then not so well on other occasions.
I don't want to make look like Britney never did anything wrong to Justin, but it's his actions afterward that has made him such a dislike figure for me. I don't think I will ever like him or forgive him till Britney does, which may be never. My hope is that they can at least be good friends again. He has played such a large part in her life and I hate how all those years went down the drain. In a way, I think Justin doesn't ever want to settle down with a girl after Britney. He seems content on being a playboy or a committed man, but only for a few years then on to the next one. I think a part of the reason I STRONGLY dislike the man is because I feel he played the biggest role in Britney's life going downhill after the breakup, which I outlined in my previous post. Until I see the same girl, I followed forever, I don't think I will ever forgive or like the man.
