And that thread is from 2012. It was even stronger back in 2008-10. I remember every video of her doing Paparazzi or Poker Face on the piano being filled with "wow I only listen to metal and Norwegian polka-jazz but she is actually talented!" etc.
Yes, and the people that drag her so fervently are mad @ themselves really.
Mad that they got hoodwinked by it and couldn't figure it out sooner. And mad they thought they had a W and it turned out to be nothing. And embarrassed/ashamed at how they were once on the bandwagon so hard.
