I'm sorry i doubted Bey. This album is everything i wanted from Bey, it's perfection. I wish she would consider promoting it, sending singles to radios and uploading the videos on time on VeVo but i wont expect much. It's still a perfect project. Thank you Bey for always being so confident with your art.

It's possible she changed things last minute. With Beyonce you never know. She record a lot of songs at the same time, it's possible she picked some lighter songs near the release of the album and decided to go easy this time. She still has Ivy Park to sell, a Tour to slay...she cant piss off white people too much. Her message here instead is supportive of black feminism and she focused on that only which is fine by me.

That would make sense except we known the filming for the movie starting from like November and then several other places. And this was all before Formation. Before that tweet about the album.

She's started filming this last year. I don't think they changed anything.

I reckon Formation was used to make a big statement right before the Super Bowl because of its lyrics and video being the most out there. I think this was always the album we were going to get (unlike last time) and her aim wasn't to piss white people off, just to gain some big hype and attention to certain things she would explore in the film.
