It's true that "C'mon" follows a specific formula, but to call it "generic" is a lazy classification. "C'mon" is a PERFECT pop song and is Ke$ha's SIGNATURE sound and is lyrically and melodically irresistible, whether one would like to admit it or not. It's one of the best tracks on "Warrior," critically lauded, and it absolutely needed to be released as a single. Unfortunately, timing is just as important as a perfectly-crafted record. Rush releasing the single directly after a little backlash, not to mention while "Die Young" was still spinning, was an unwise decision and definitely affected the success of "C'mon." Can you IMAGINE if "C'mon" was released after "Blow" -- I have no doubt the record would have went 47x platinum. But, I digress.
Let us just AWE at how Ke$ha does virtually no promo and still charts like a pro -- "Crazy Kids" being the
prime example. HOW does she do it? If only she had Katy Perry's PR team, she'd be unstoppable
with the way Ke$ha's singles stick to radio like bubblegum from the corner Mexi-Mart.
Je$us is walking among us.
