Again, no. The decay theme was nothing more than something she was toying with. It was never anything that she wanted to push with ARTPOP, this why PD didn't make it onto ARTPOP. The decay theme was more of a personal theme she wanted to play with to make a statement about how she was being treated by the media. She decided to keep it at that instead of pursue it with the album.

Now get Fernando, Madeon, RedOne and Rick Rubin on Act II and say goodbye to Zedd and DJWS. They served good bops but it's time to say goodbye to them.

Except, "2012 ARTPOP/early ARTPOP" didn't exist in a different form from what we got. ARTPOP has been the same since she started recording and Fernando has nothin to do with ARTPOP and never recorded with Gaga for ARTPOP. The whole "original ARTPOP" thing is literally a thing made up by people like Angela Cheng who said that Gaga's label rejected her original idea and forced her to re-record. Nope. Fernando having a hand in PN's production means the song is older than we thought, like Gypsy. DJWS took over PN and made it what we hear at the show, aka better than that boring watered down version from Fernando's IG.
ARTPOP has no central theme. That is the point. "Could mean anything" is basically "it's whatever you want it to be". Everyone spent all of 2011 telling her to shut up and be more fun so that's what she did. Fun Gaga isn't as fun as you guys thought, hmmm?
