Yep. Gaga was presented as something more than an ordinary pop girl and that attracted a legion of people who considered themselves "above" ordinary pop music. I still remember all the monsters bragging about not being into pop music before Gaga.
But in the end she was just another manufactured product, her hits are as disposable as those of her peers (if not more so), and the "real" Gaga is not the woman they wanted her to be. Few things anger a person more than being made to look like an idiot.

" façade which would imply that they're somehow laughing with her and "just enjoying the ride" when really they're crying inside? It's so... tears of a clown when there's no one around. If they STILL stan her nowadays (for whatever reason unbeknownst to me), they should at least have the gall to sport actual Gaga avis that lay their **** bare, instead of hiding behind pictures of her dog or whatever. It's like, helloooo, we know you're miserable, stop trying to smile in the face of tragedy!
