If she does some really good album promo in the week of and week before the album, then yes. But Selenas never been about huge debut numbers, but great longevity. So I'm not too sure, but my bet is on yes. I'll say it will be close between her and Mariah in the USA, at least
It depends. I think Selena will score her biggest week sales yet with this album but I just don't see it edging out Mariah. I mean, Mariah is solidified as a legend and #Beautiful is one of her best works in YEARS so she has hopped right back into the limelight.
Selena is definitely currently at her peak though. She's the hot thing.
My bet is that there'll be competition but Mariah will win. But that's okay, Selena has WONDERFUL longevity. At least she would definitely get that #2 peak which isn't too shabby!

True. I think Mariah will probably edge it but who knows, it may depend on how big #Beautiful and C&GI/Slow Down are closer to the time.
