I don't hate Jessica in the slightest. However, her lack of enthusiasm coupled with her pursuit of success in a field which consequentially compromises SNSD's revenue stream makes it hard to sympathise with her.

She never used the group name to promote Blanc at any stage of the process.
Yoona, Yuri and Sooyoung are allowed to pursue their acting ambitions, but Jessica can't pursue her passion for fashion?
As for "lack of enthusiasm", she never missed an event, and showed up to all her performances in 2014, whereas Sooyoung put acting first and didn't even show up to KCON. Double standard.
SNSD members creating their own fashion lines will reduce the likelihood of them getting endorsements.
The only reason she had the opportunity to create a fashion line was because she was a member of SNSD in the first place.
Yoona, Yuri and Sooyoung pursued acting ambitions, as approved by SM. No SM act can breathe without their permission. This is common knowledge.
It doesn't matter if she wasn't missing events. Her performances at the events were abysmal and noticeably bad. Yes, the group's attention to detail has waned significantly but Jessica might not have been there. Sooyoung was missing from events as she was contractually obliged to be present for filming roles screened, approved and often, endorsed by SM. What Jessica did was entirely SM free.
Either way, a dead weight performer is gone so no harm, no foul. It isn't like SNSD had many years left in them anyway. Their music output and performance ability is at an all time low and every single member clearly wants to move on but without enough tact to not impede on the livelihood of one another.
Girls’ Day Hyeri took to Twitter with photos of herself bowing and apologizing to BEAST fans after a past video surfaced of her allegedly mocking BEAST’ Dongwoon at the 2014 MelOn Music Awards.
On December 22nd, Hyeri posted two pictures of herself bowing on Twitter with a message “You know I’m a crazy fan of BEAST and I even went to their concert right? I was just very happy about the fact that sunbaenims won an award and I didn’t show my excitement very well. I am sorry about any bad feelings I have caused. I am sorry and I will be careful from now on. Please look kindly on me.”
The apology refers to the accusations made by many BEAST fans that Hyeri made fun of Son Dongwoon at the awards by imitating him when he said, “Hello this is BEAST!” at the 4:41~4:44 mark in the embedded YouTube video below, when starting his award speech. Fans also accused her of continuing to mock him when Dongwoon mentions their popularity, as she laughs and imitates him again (4:57~5:00 in the embedded video below).
She has since deleted the tweet and apology.

I only know a few Canadian people from Alberta (Edmonton), but yeah, the accents are different. I'm not saying her accent is unnatural anyway, but she probably emphasises a little more given the fact she's in a foreign country, even I tend to find even when I'm in another country or English speaking place for that matter I emphasise my accent since Glaswegian accents can tend to be hard to understand a bit. Although maybe that's just me who does that.

I have family in Montreal but idk the Ontario accent. I thought they would all sound like Drake
But I agree with Jack though, her accent seems fake when she's talking, like she's reading from a script and really trying hard to sound North American.

Jessica was tied with Yoona for the most CFs and endorsements in the whole group. Yoona and Jessica were the biggest money makers in OT9 by some way, so it's not like she was taking away endorsements to begin with, they were all directed towards her, and SM approved it.
SM approved Jessica's fashion business, they knew about it from the beginning and I think someone in SuJu has a fashion line as well, but there was no problem there.
I don't think she was a dead weight performer either, let's not pretend here, she has left a huge gap in their discography now.
I don't really see your point, SM originally approved her business but for some reason changed their minds. Sica quite clearly put SNSD first ahead of Blanc, so I'm not buying that argument.
If SM can allow Yoona, Yuri and Sooyoung to skip performances in the US in favour of other activities, then they could have allowed Jessica to manage Blanc.
