The song is not bad, it's just her reputation that people base their observation of how well her song will do. The bad performance overshadowed everything and they just went by that.

I'm not gonna hate on Britney here so let me speak my case. Now once Gimme More's bullet is eventually gone, GM has to show me that it will only drop like -50 to -150 at a time, not -1200 in one week. Consistency is the best when it comes to chart success.
I thought for sure it would be popping off right now. HUGE sign that this album will flop. Not enough radio play = not enough exposure = flop album :tears:
