Reviews full of "I don't like this word choice" and "TYPO!1!" are woefully lacking in comparison.

8th's way of reviewing, imo, is needed. Not everyone will like everything you do, and at the least he's pointing out some things that could improve, like a constructive reviewer would do. I won't lie, I like acclaim, but I think being able to take a review like 8th's in stride is needed if you want to actually do anything that requires a talent.

I'm not shading 8th btw, I do disagree with a good half of his reviews and all of his music taste but its good to have a different opinion. Its your job as a writer to choose what critique to listen to and not listen to

This, too. It's key to be proud of what you write, and you'll never be happy trying to live to anyone's standards but your own.

RE@ Achilles passive aggressive comment, it's important to point out the individual flaws in a song or else you won't know exactly where you went wrong or where to improve. And in all honesty the judges that pointed out individual awkward word choices I found to be the best personally. The contestants that took ALL of the judges advice improved the most this week, and those that brushed them off made no improvement
