I don't know why people expected SNL to boost OG. SNL has not had those type of ratings consistently in years. If Brad Pitt had been hosting then maybe but, I don't know who that guy who hosted tonight and the skits aside from Shy Ronnie were horrible.

It is very rare that SNL affects digital sales. Bruno must have performed during the season premiere or when they had a host people actually recognized.
she slayed it!!! i love the interpretation, she feels the song. Vocals were amazing
Next steps for improvement:
- turn on microphone more riri, your voice is a better that the rest
- turn off the microphone of the back up singers, they sound like dumb children on drugs. That or better, fire them
- tone down the volume of the band, too loud, and increase the volume of the background beat

Bruno was #2 before the performance. After he slayed the performance, he increased and went #1 on iTunes. Riri is a bigger star in comparison to Bruno. So, it's only normal to anticipate a more significant effect of her performance.
Her next promo will be for her album which is quite far away. We have no idea if OG gonna peak by that time plus many new releases. So, if she couldn't go #1 this time around, we can only hope for the album release to help it.

Sis I see your point and CG was a bigger hit than OG during the same lifespan. While CG didn't have problem topping Billboard, the situation is not the same with OG. It could be the fact that CG was release during summer while a Europop song like OG, although would be a great summer song, was released around September.
But still coz it's a europop song, it's performing better than CG worldwide during the same lifespan but of course US matters the most and we're craving for the taste of #1.

But sis, it's all circumstance. "OG" is not #2, nor is it going to be easy to pass Ke$ha. This performance isn't going to boost her sales 800%, and that's just that. "OG" performance sucked anyways. "WMN" better be released Tuesday, go #1, and hit #1 on Billboard after Ke$ha. "OG" does not deserve.
