americanshameless started using it because of LaToya Jackson. Like most things here, it caught on with a lot of people and it got increasingly annoying and disruptive so the mods banned all the LaLingo.

Weird. I never saw it get to that point of being disruptive and annoying. People here are annoyed by almost anything.
