No "Spiritual" love? It reminds me of William Orbit and Moby in their heydays...could make for a seriously sexy video (imagine her naked on a beach with bright lights and her arms and legs strategically covering her up), but she's too big of a pop star right now to release it.
Honestly, the bonus track ballads are better than any of the others on the album proper, save "By The Grace of God" and "Ghost." The bonus tracks won't be singles, though.

Spiritual is severely underrated on ATRL I can't believe that people on here prefer Double Rainbow over that masterpiece. However I think Spiritual is a very unlikely single choice because it was co-written by John Mayer and now that they're broken up I don't think Katy would want to give him royalty checks if it becomes a hit. The song also isn't very radio-friendly and that's kind of a necessity for a Katy song.

I still don't get why they just didn't let DH be the 2nd single. Releasing it as a promo single was VERY misleading (I remember her tweeting it was not the new single)... I remember that here, in France, all of the radios started to play it immediatly as the "new Katy Perry song". I don't even understand what Capitol and Katy tried to do.
So yeah we didn't know back then but this alone ruined the whole era's singles picks.

Do we even know if her team is the same as the one during TD? It looks so different all of a sudden.

I love Spiritual, the only deluxe track I don't like is It Takes Two and I agree with Ghost and By The Grace Of God being the best ballads on Prism (standard version).

If Katy had followed my single plan she would already be on her 4th #1

I was confused too! Because Katy recorded radio promo ("Hi it's Katy Perry and this is my new song Dark Horse!") that I heard BEFORE Dark Horse was released as a single (during the Uncle days). Extremely unusual for a promo single. It's like she was hoping it would overshadow Uncle.

Management is the same (Bradford Cobb) but the people at the label who are actually in charge of her music got reshuffled IIRC.

I actually disagree with you on this. I really think the message would resonate with people very well (and I've seen my friends stan for this track myself so it does have GP appeal) compared to M5's recent material. It definitely is coming from a more genuine place.
She must have some sort of preference for the track though, seeing as she stated she was excited to perform it on tour and it's the only bonus track she isn't paying dust.

Shame. It Takes Two would give her that appeal she wants. Instead, she releases Unconditionally, Birthday, and TIHWD. The first one goes unnoticed and forgotten, the second was treated horribly, and the last is a mistake. Sorry. ITT > those poor single choices.

If she wants to do an acoustic album than It Takes Two would be a good single choice. It would let her see how the GP reacts to her stripped back songs. Plus I think it could be a JGMAR-sized smash with good promo. It could be the break-up anthem of 2015

Uh, no. A couple of YouTube comments don't mean much. It's YouTube, people are awful about everything. The likes on the video (TIHWD) are what's the main thing and it's been received well. TIHWD is superior to WoA in every way.
Radio refused to play it because of the radio rebellion. They were being stupid and bias, which is not their job. They were unprofessional. That's nothing to do with Katy and if the song will be a hit. Once it hits adds date they will start spinning it and the more stations that add it, it will rise on iTunes, and more people will hear it, and the MV views will go up, etc. It's a grower for some, and by the time the adds date comes, hopefully the people who were hesitant to spin it at first will do so now.
"Roar" was still young when WoA was released and wasn't one of her biggest hits ever, and "Dark Horse" was only two weeks old, not one of her biggest hits ever, and received the same amount of promo as WoA, but DH got the attention and WoA didn't. When Uncle was released two weeks after that, it surpassed WoA in sales and relevance in no time... yes it was an official single but it also didn't have a music video or single cover at that time remember. WoA simply was the weakest and not received well by the GP unlike Roar, Dark Horse and Unconditionally.
This Is How We Do is still the best choice and I believe it will have enough longevity to allow Katy to give it at least one promo spot somewhere which will help the song significantly. They can still work this out and make it a hit if they try. If they don't try, it may reach Top 20 like the others, at best.

"It Takes Two" is so average. Just because it's probably the best out of the deluxe edition tracks (which are all the three worst tracks on the album, respectively), doesn't make it single worthy. It's so flat. IDK why so many Katy stans love it. But it's not ever being released so yay.
"Legendary Lovers" is the only real SMASH left on PRISM. "Walking On Air", "Ghost" and "This Moment" could all be Uncle/Birthday sized hits. Maybe Top 10.
Along with LL, TIHWD is a #1 potential candidate. Support this one instead of wishing for another one.
#97 on iTunes now tho.
