Yeah love JLo but I was slightly nervous a year or so ago when she did all that promo on awards shows, tv, press etc.

When the tickets actually went on sale and months and months later there still are no sell outs.

JLO stans are claiming the 3 shows sold out but that doesn't mean that the tickets weren't reduced in price the day off and also if you are depending on "selling out" the day off after all that promo still the remaining ticket statuses are either "not many left" or blank meaning a plentiful of seats need to be filled. Her catalog is not as strong as britney's or mariah's

I expect reviewers to pit them up against one another and give JLO praise and I do think the JLO show will be better choreographed but Vegas already inducted 2 queens: celine and Britney.

the difference is the vegas thing was a PR move to put Britney amongst legends and prove her catalog brings in money.

This can set up demand for a tour if she has hits in an album after Vegas. JLO on the other hand did her first tour like 2-3 years ago. SHe's doing it because well...
FF took demand away. vegas is proving she can still make money for her music and it can set her in the right path for a tour in 2019 if her team plays their cards right.

I bet this is just for the backup dancers. I don't think Brit would be comfortable being grabbed around the neck/face like that. It would be cool if they mixed some of the original choreography with new stuff, though.

I hope some aspects of the original choreography are kept, though. It's probably her most recognizable routine.

I'm telling you all...her next WW tour will most likely be her first of two or three "farewell" tours -- a cher tea.

I need a damn single dammit BUT the later the album is released, the closer it is to the end of the vegas residency.

Bieber, Adele, Selena, soon to be rihanna/Beyonce/gaga are going to be coming in the next month or so.

If she's not doing a new single which seems so unlikely at this point THEN.

I'd be here for a single/video released in mid late March with an album released late May
If they want to go the old route of two singles then
Mar/April singles
June/July single with an August/Sept album.

I lowkey want her to release singles in the late spring and late summer with an album release in October and let the other girls compete in 2016 (Adele/Rihanna/Gaga/Beyonce/Katy)

In any event, if they are taking B9 seriously at least 3-4 singles will occur which takes up the majority of the 2016 and part of 2017

Then they can either set up a volume 3 GH or B10 (the best option) to celebrate 20 years with a Sept 18' single/Oct/Nov album and a March 19' first "farewell" tour

before she tours... i need her to make some performances for the next era. a GOOD performances ( and ww not just in the usa )to make the demand higher...

if she s not going to rebuild her image next era.. then a tour is not a good option

Hopefully this means they've got rid of the awkward pole choreography. Even if she's not doing this choreographey at least we've seen her doing splits during the BOM choreo!
