Yeah, people are doing too much. You don't need A+ vocals to sound good. An artist can have the best vocals and technique but if I don't like their tone or they don't show emotion and personality, I won't listen to their music. Taylor could improve her vocals but this doesn't change the fact that she has a unique and beautiful voice.

exactly, i need to be able to "feel" the emotion in their voice when singing. All Too Well changed it for me tbh, when i heard it the first time i could really "picture" or visualise the lyrics in my head... a song. I was so shook.

And its not just ATRL. I hear this from "thinkpieces" as well. Its sick. People use her whiteness to constantly discredit, undermine and dismiss her accomplishments and pretty much her entire career. If her success is just because of her race, why aren't other white girls (bar Adele) doing it? Or have done it on Her level? I can see that and where she benefits from whiteness but the way people use that to "explain" the existence of her career, achievements, and popularity just because they hate her is truly disgusting. Late 2014-15 was truly a time.
