At the Grammys she can do another spong (preferably Kiss it Better or Love On the Brain). Drake said on Twitter that he Will NOT be attending the Grammys and I believe that the All Star Game will be more appropriate for Work than the Grammys. Thats just my 2 cents though.

WORK is doing great on radio but its performing better on Rhythmic and Urban stations than Pop. I see it peaking top 10 on Pop radio tbh. So I think she should move on to Kiss It Better in March as the next Pop single. She needs to show two sides of her album to sell the tour tickets.

He is NOT headlining. They hired Sting. People are hoping he shows up (and he probably will) but that obviously complicates things.

I've been banned, but i watched all this happen and i have thoughts after like a week and a half of letting everything digest

1. 7/10. 7.5 if I'm being real generous

2. not worth the 3 year wait, but realistically, I don't think that anything would have been. especially not when I was completely content with the material on the yearly releases for the most part

3. Love on the Brain has easily become the most overrated song in her discography surpassing Man Down. the 50s doo-wop Motown soul sound has been played out to all hell by the likes of Ariana, when Bey did Superpower and by Megham Fatner of all people. i think ya'll stan because of how explicit she is in it but that's really nothing new at this point, ídk i just know I definitely skip it every time it comes on

4. this is the perfect type of sound for her, the whole SZA-Tinashe (don't try to deny it idc idc idc) R&B route, sounds like music that she stands by but she really just needs to find more up and coming girls like that to help her produce material like this at a quicker rate. she can churn out this **** much quicker than how long we waited for this album, although it really feels like a totally natural and optimum progression

5. the certification is bull****, and i take issue with the album essentially being a giant corporate deal. i mean thankfully we got good music out of it but despite how good it is, everything about this album and era feels half assed, from the short ass songs to the promo that definitely didn't pan out correctly. if it was gonna be given out for free, why wait so long?? I guess I should just accept that she really don't give that much of a **** about music anymore but it just feels cheap..... don't even get me started on goodnight Gotham, the bitch is lazy

top 5: same old mistakes (best thing she's ever recorded), never ending, work, needed me, yeah i said it w/ honorary mention to pose as the best turn up jam of her discography

This is just by far her best album. It's so beautiful. The only tracks I haven't warmed up to are Consideration and LOTB. Everything else though is so perfect.
