the only thing stopping RV from being top-tier is SM not promoting them enough. They have hits just as big as the average TWICE/G-FRIEND song + the YouTube views, streams & album sales... yet they still don't feel as big as they can be. I love them but their one flaw is the same I had with present-day f(x)... they don't have that undeniable attention-grabbing/we-are-THEE-Red-Velvet presence just yet.
EDIT: as much as I love OOTN, it def ruined their momentum. They had 2 huge songs back to back before that. Now it's like they're starting from ground-zero w/ RR & blowing up all over again lol
It kills me that one passing comment on a Pann article saying that RV were only a seat-warming group for SM until White Fox debuts gets translated and now everyone thinks RV is the new f(x) and WF is the new SNSD
Does SM even have any more full-package/powerhouse female idols left to debut? I'm looking at the current SMRookies roster and it's either that or they're way too young (2003 line ).
