It's a cute sing and a great opener. My main issue with it is the autotune/production. Someone kill Ryan Tedder and do the entire music industry a favour.

A mere month ago I probably would have been one of the people to be on the Haters (gonna hate hate hate hate hate) list because I’ve always found one glaring issue with How You Get The Girl - it makes no sense to me in the context of the album. I feel that it’s the definition of a filler track because.. It doesn’t have anything to do with the theme of a new outlook on love and life and actually reverts back to this idea of chick flick love. When you hear Taylor talking about all the tracks of the album, it’s the one that sticks out.
That being said, when you get over that aspect, it’s perfect sugary pop goodness.
By the way people keep saying she'll be forced back to Spotify with these "terrible numbers" one would think Blank Space didn't have 2.5 Million certified stream equivalents
