Hey guys, I've been reading up on EVs more now and I'm a bit confused. If someone could, possibly, explain a little more in depth just so I can have a better understanding I would love that. Like, I read one example where if "one fights 4 Geodudes, that's 4 EV points for attack" but what about defense? Since its defense is high as well why would the EVs only go toward attack? But like I said, I'm thoroughly confused and I have no idea about EVs.

OK, well first things first, you should probably look at which Pokemon gives which EVS, because Geodude does not give EV's in Attack, but defense like you said .

At the end of the guide there is a wonderful chart for the best places to EV train depending on which version you are playing.

If you are stuck on what type of EV set you want to give your Pokemon, Smogon has a good stratagy Pokedex that gives out EV distributions depending on what role you want the Pokemon to do.

Example: You want a Weavile to be a good attack:

252 Speed
252 Attack
10 HP

Mess. I just noticed the game slot and the cameras make a face

If they were going to make an Eevee one, it should be all the Eeveelution colors and one of their eyes in a vertical bar form kinda like this.

It started from a source that had previously leaked the entire Pokedex of BW before the release then, since that he's been seen as a reliable source. He recently gave out information regarding the new type being a fairy type.

Then a second source, the web master of Pokebeach.com has stated that he got contacted by a source that gave him information, starting out with Mewtwo getting a new form which turned out to be true. The webmaster then posted the English names of the newest Pokemon we got that a day before they were released.

Thus, he gave out information to a new type, being fairy and that Sylveon would be a Fairy-type.

Also, there is a variety show in Japan called Pokemon Sunday that gives out information and they tested Sylveon and it was shown the be a new type, which may or may not be a fairy type.

Its just a rumor that is well supported

If all of these Pokemon are were actually included in the new fairy-type, then I would hate fairy-type Pokemon...well maybe all but Sylveon.
