Why?: For the first time ever (since 2010, when I created my first Best Of) Example is out of the top 3! And is not like this song is bad or his worst work... this is #5 only because 2014 was full of incredible music If this were released in 2013 it would have been easily my #1... said that (because I don't want you to believe Example disappointed me this year ) here is "10 Million People"! This deep-house song from Example is fantastic! very different from his previous work.. but in a good way! My favorite song from his latest album and probably my favorite Example song since 2011 when he released that epic "Playing In The Shadows" album. The music video is good but not his best and maybe that's the reason why this song lost some points at the end and is now No. 5. 2015 is going to be a sad year in music because Example is now a dad and I feel like, for the first time ever, he's not going to release anything but well, this song is still strong on my weekly countdown and, at least, this will appear on my Best Of 2015 list again

Why?: Queen Tove Lo makes her last appearance this year! Thanks to this flawless remix I got into her music and I discovered the original song! There was a time when I loved the original & the remix equally... but right now I think the remix aged better and that's the reason why this flawless remix is my favorite version now! "Habits" is an incredible song with amazing (and sad) lyrics. The remix adds a touch of... I don't know, nostalgia maybe? and that makes this song even better. I swear I still love this remix like is the first time I hear it! The music video is just incredible. Thank you Tove Lo for this amazing year with your incredible music and congrats because "Habits" is now officially MY FAVORITE FEMALE SINGLE OF 2014

Why?: There is no doubt Deep-house is my favorite musical genre ever This song is... INCREDIBLE! AMAZING! FANTASTIC! and any positive adjective that comes to your mind! That amazing production is everything! I know is a little bit repetitive... but this is not a pop song so this is the point I must confess I wasn't impressed with this song at first... it was nice and everything, but that's it. After 2 months I was obsessed! and I still am. This is my most played song of 2014 on my iPod and that's insane, even more played that my #1 and #2 songs I still love this song so much! This song really deserves #1... but there are 2 songs that I loved even more! By the way... I really want a new Route 94 single! "My Love" was released almost one year ago and we still don't have a new single, can't believe that

Why?: I know some of you though this was my #1 song of the year and the flawless song really deserves that title! Like I said many times this was Robin Schulz's year! What an incredible producer he is. Love that unique sound that makes all his music original and great, not the typical electronic song. I must admit that I don't like the original song (too slow for me! ) but the lyrics are beautiful The music video is not my favorite of 2014 or anything, but I think is good! This song really relaxes me, and I love that! #1 for 5 weeks on my weekly countdown, one of the best runs ever, my current ringtone... of course this song is my 2nd favorite of 2014! Robin... you're my new favorite Dj right now! Please don't start making **** music like Avicii or Calvin Harris I have a lot of faith on you and I know you will continue releasing incredible music in 2015 (unlike my #1... )

Why?: Ugh.... I promised myself that I would stop being a Calvin Harris fan in 2014... all the disappointments, his new attitude (WFT? Now he's making photo shoots naked & in underwear? Where the **** is CALVIN HARRIS!!? The real Calvin Harris was focused on his music, not a lot of nonsense ) but... then he released the flawless "Summer" This is the Calvin Harris that I like! the one who can make an incredible song with catchy lyrics and good production on his own! without the flop help of any other artist... Now I need him to release "Faith" as the next single from "Motion" because the rest of that album is pure ****. "Summer" was my summer anthem! Love every part of that song. The only negative thing is the music video! Is horrible I want a real music video with a good story... or at least a music video with a special theme like the "I'm Not Alone" music video now he releases the same music video over and over again... but well, the song is flawless and, in spite of the music video, it takes my #1 this year! Wanna know an interesting fact? This is Calvin Harris' 3rd year that he takes the crown I can't believe that! He's definitely my favorite artist of all time... but please Calvin, please focus on your music again and give me a new "Ready For The Weekend" My most played song of the year (almost 1,600 plays!), 27 weeks on my weekly countdown and #1 for 6 weeks... of course "Summer" is my fave song of 2014!

King Calvin es #1
Tengo que confesar que tenía mis dudas, pero qué bueno verlo en la cima, a pesar que algunas partes del comentario que hiciste hablas mal de él Sin embargo, tengo que coincidir contigo porque yo también quiero ver a Calvin del 2007 - 2009 en vez del post-"We Found Love" (a pesar que tengo que admitir que él ha hecho muy buenas colaboraciones con otros artistas, por lo que sé que me vas a odiar por eso ). Con respecto a "Faith", también quiero que sea el siguiente sencillo, pero quizás lo sea después de "Pray to God". *cruza los dedos para que así sea*
Por otro lado, no puedo creer que "10 Million People" no esté dentro del Top 3. No sé si esto fue peor que haber visto a "One More Day (Stay With Me)" en el #11 en verdad. La sorpresa, sin lugar a dudas, fue "My Love". No esperaba verla en el Top 3, pero qué bueno verla ahí. Personalmente, me hubiera gustado darle un mejor chart run, al igual que a "Prayer In C" y "Habits (Stay High)" [Hippie Sabotage Remix] honestamente. Sin embargo, eso no implica que las tres sean malas porque no lo son. Yo también coincido que ya es hora que Route 94 lance una nueva canción y que Robin Schulz definitivamente promete, además que prefiero esta versión de "Habits" porque la original no me gustó tanto en lo personal.
En conclusión, tu Top 5 es increíble y como ya te dije anteriormente, espero que veas la manera de poder continuar tu conteo porque es uno de los mejores que hay.

Nunca le agarre el gancho a esta song como sus otros singles, el video me parece igual de mediocre que One More Day, pero me gusta, me parece que tiene que descansar, si bien su ultimo album no es un desastre, esta años luz de Playing in the Shadows.

De las mejores songs femeninas de este año, odiaba esta song demasiado, era lo que mas odie el 2014, pero escuche el mix original y me desagrado, me parecia que no era tan buena como la original y asi sin darme cuenta me fui encariñando con las canciones y ahora me encantan ambas versiones

Excelente song
La descubri por tu conteo, su beat es increible, con todo y que sea repetitiva me encanta, el video es increible, tanto Midnight como este manejaron muy bien este estilo.

Es excelente, como dices es por mucho el mejor DJ de este año, con tanta repetividad que hay en este genero, fue sin duda la mejor propuesta, dudo que cambie su estilo, de hecho este estilo es lo que lo hace exitoso [ otra que descubri gracias a ti ]
01.- Calvin Harris - "Summer"
No crei que seria el #1 tenias una especie de odio/amor hacia Calvin me hacia dudar, pero veo que despues de todo gano, En mi opinion Motion me parece un copy/paste de 18 Months, y esta song esta en esa lista, no cambia mucho respecto a Feel So Close, me parece una buena cancion y ya, hay muchas songs de tu top 10 hubiera sido mejor #1..

En general este conteo me gusto bastante, el cierre fue muy bueno, muchas sorpresas en este, veo que respecto al año pasado, nuestros gustos se han estado pareciendo bastante.

Muy epico tu best of, My Love fue también la canción que más escuche este año pero no sentí que mereciera el #1, y si, yo también quiero más de Route 94.
Amo la dos versiones de Habits cada una tiene su encanto.
La del #2 está muy padre, la escuche un par de veces y me gusto.
El #1 también me gusta mucho, King Calvin.
10.- The Neighbourhood - "Sweater Weather":
Tuve un acercamiento con estos chicos este año de nuevo, no exactamente con este tema sino con "A Little Death", gracias a mi enamorada, eso sí tengo que admitir que en su debido momento no les preste atención, pero su pop descarado que rosa el indie y cosas como el R&B también suenan genial.
09.- Hozier - "Take Me To Church":
Escuche a este muchacho irlandés terminando el 2013, y le perdí el rastro sino hace poco que vi la portada de su álbum por algún lado. Increíble voz la de él directa al corazón.
08.- Sia - "Chandelier":
Me dio gusto que Sia se quedará con el tema que bien pudo haberselo dado a Rihanna y le hubiera calzado perfectamente. Si bien las voces son parecidas, la voz desgarradora de Sia en pleno climax de la canción, tratando de transmitir todo ese dolor encerrado en el tema, es casi sublime escuchar el tema y todo un placer hacerlo sonar varias veces. A veces me arrepiento del puesto que le di en mi top, bueno el tiempo lo dirá.
07.- Lorde - "Team":
Mi segunda tema favorito de ella, espero con ansias lo nuevo que saque, ojalá siga sorprendiéndonos.
06.- Duke Dumont - "I Got U (feat. Jax Jones)":
Me gustó este tema de balearic beat de Duke, aunque no lo he escuchado lo suficiente, ojalá saque un álbum o algo, necesitamos de él!
05.- Example - "10 Million People":
Tengo que sincero y la verdad me decepciona algo lo nuevo de Example, lo escuché y me hizo extrañar mucho sus temas pasados, cosas como más hiphop o cuando a veces rosaba el Dubstep le hacen falta.
04.- Tove Lo - "Stay High (Habits) (Hippie Sabotage Remix)":
Había escuchado el tema sin el remix me parece en el top de Popstar, y la verdad es que el remix le agrega mucho, suena muy bien.

Buenísimo tema de deep house, de las mejores canciones que descubrí gracias a las otras listas de aquí, la he escuchado un par de veces esta semanas, muy pegajosa y qué videito eh!
