He was once untouchable and now he's out before potentionally having the most top 20 entries. “Ego Free, Sex Free” is somewhere between soul-pop, funk and R&B. It's just a mess of things but a good mess; synthesizers, drums, electric guitars, hi-hats, chipmunk vocal chops and a climatic chorus.
If there's a second installment then SZA, Banks, Jhené Aiko, Tinashe, and FKA twigs are shoo ins for returnees with a new batch of people since some of their stuff missed the cut-off and premiered after the rate started - that's if I'm allowed o do that.
could The Acid or Lo Fang be in that? (just asking cause I'm not good with genres)
We kind of did her stuff already minus Tough Love. I don't know how that would work or who else would be included that's not already here. Probably Sam Smith too.
Right. That was the TW2012 rate you hosted I think. I didn't get a chance to send
Sam Smith could be good.
At me already anticipating the next one when this one's still going

This Is What It Feels Like is her second best song, only behind Brain for me. It does serve some Aaliyah/Timbaland electro-R&B bliss, probably the reason I love it so much. It should have been higher.
And I should have given Ego Free Sex Free a 10, it's actually amazing.
I can live without Kelela's tracks, though they're quite nice.
