If she is capable of defending herself why did she let T-Dog get bitten when she was right next to him with a gun in her hand? Why did T-Dog have to sacrifice himself for her to run through the door around the corner, if she was capable enough to defend herself against the Walkers? Because she isn't. She is a goofy woman who will meet the maker soon enough.
And the events of the show are different than the comics now. She won't find some random person hiding in the prison, they would have come out already with all the commotion at the prison.

Uhm She did try to shoot the zombies but she ran out of ammo. T-Dog was already bitten so he figured out he'd rather save her than having both of them die, he was going to die anyway.

Uhm... No she wasn't. T-Dog was trying to close the gate and she was standing behind him near the door looking back and forth. She had plenty of time to tell T-Dog to turn around or try and get the zombie away from him since she is so capable.
Which would have prevented T-Dog from having to sacrifice himself to begin with. But she is such a idiot, she just scram and told him to come on opening the door at the last minute.

T-Dog knew she would die if he wasn't with her. Which is why he sacrificed himself for her. She isn't some strong capable woman like someone tried to say.
Almost positive Judy isn't going to survive past season 3. I bet it'll be the half season finale when that poor baby dies of malnutrition since the comics had her die at the same time as Lori.

I don't know. They seem like they are going to do whatever they can to get her some formula. I'm also not sure if the producers will want to do that to the viewers. It really could go either way. Maybe she will be kidnapped and taken to Woodsbury? Or maybe she will be what brings everyone together when Daryl is out on a run for formula and runs into Merle? One thing for sure the comics hold no more idea as to what it could be since she died with Lori in them. The TV adaptation of Judy will be different.

I haven't cried this hard during a TV show since LOST.
It's so tough (not in a bad way, necessarily) to watch this show while being an active reader of the comics. It all happened so differently in the comics.

Yea, casting will be difficult but it is still a possibility. The show doesn't move forward in time until the end of the season, so in reality they could just have a older Judy every season. And when they do jump it's usually a few months. They wouldn't need to cast a different Judy very often, unless the baby isn't working out the way they need.
Raising Hope, and Mad Men are two examples of the same baby being used in multiple seasons without change of actor.
