Here goes my story. I started this thing when I was young, wild and free, at 18 and no, the sex wasn't until I was 19, it was just random make ups when we didn't have anyone and don't get me wrong, isn't like I had a lot of sex with him. Some times we stopped seeing each other because I started a real relationship, then I came back to him, then to a new relationship, etc. We haven't had sex in a long time because we both started a real relationship. The thing is, we shared a beach house for this spring break and we started to talk again about our relationships, yep, just talking, a lot. I was invited to a dinner of my high school friends, he was there, we started to talk apart from the group and then he told me this: I don't know if it's because I'm getting used to having you around but I never realized that you are really sweet, we need to stop seeing each other because I think that I'm falling, which is weird, I never fall for anyone, not even my girlfriend. He has been dating this girl for 2 years, 6 months. I've been dating a new guy for like 1 month and he's really sweet but young. I'm confused. Help sisters. HELP.

Honestly, if it's meant to be, wait for it later... both of you shouldn't ruin what you guys have with the real relationships. I mean, if you did, then hopefully it's working out, but yeah, I normally take the easy way out for most things unless it's truly worth it.

I think the possibility of a relationship is definitely worth ruining a friendship. For one, if you get with him it doesn't ruin the friendship, it makes it stronger. For two, if you never try, your feelings just become stronger, they don't go away. So if you don't ever act on it, you will always wonder what if.

Female friends may call their friends beautiful, male friends usually do not. You said you think he likes you too. So clearly something is going on there.

You don't have to talk to him about it if you aren't sure. You can make gestures to show him you're interested, like snuggling with him or being more flirtatious. That may give him the confidence to say something. If he doesn't, then I guess you have your answer.
