It seriously isn't guaranteed as to whether she'll happen in America. She has a hit with Hotter Than Hell here in the UK so they need to strike while the iron is hot. And I'm sure everyone knows how the UK disposes female acts (excl. Adele and Cheryl) after one era so releasing this album in the UK and Europe near the end of the year would have been better then focus on the USA afterwards, releasing the album there too if there's enough budget to push her there.
She doesn't have a strong or big fanbase to help keep her name out there and the UK GP don't really know her that well. It's like these labels deliberately try to sabotage artists.
Why announce a release date so early if you're not even set on an actual date? Obviously it's not her fault but her label's.
