Ehhh this is very lackluster. I barely want to watch the show now. Justin Bieber and Nicki should be interesting.. I also like Tori Kelly but her performance will be a little boring. Demi is a mess sometimes, and the rest i don't care for. Do Macklemore and Ryan Lewis even have a song out?

The line-up is not very exciting but I'm glad the guys of twenty one pilots will perfom in the main show because I think the VMA's should embrace artists of different kinds of music (the VMAS were used to be so diversified in the past).

Tori Kelly performing in the main show is a bit random for me while Nick Jonas and Walk the Moon who are bigger than this girl will perfom in the pre-show. I'm not hating on her and I hope the girl will have her moment.

MTV should have invited some other names like Lana Del Rey, Sia, Ellie Goulding, Florence + The Machine, the Artist to Watch nominees or even 1D and Taylor Swift for the viewing rating's sake.

I think MTV was banking on bigger releases earlier this year. I mean this would have looked different if say Britney followed up PG and Rihanna released R8. They would use those names to hype the show.

There a few good acts in there but some seem like last minute phone calls from producers (Tori and Macklemore)
