But the most prominent characters in comics like Iceman being gay and Deadpool being pansexual proves that written in a great way, the cisgender male audience is very receptive and respectful of them.
In the comics, yes. But it's not yet canon in the movies that he is.
But I was talking about the MCU/Avengers world. Not FOX/X-Men world.
It's not clear yet, but he still made some gay jokes throughout the movie. And just because they didn't explore that part of him doesn't mean it not canon. We still have Deadpool 2 to wait for and see.
