Grossing $15 million more isn't barely. It's already at $670 million worldwide and they're expecting it to hit $300 mark by next Sunday.

Civil War scored an "A" CinemaScore, and solid holds over its first three days in release suggest a stellar domestic run is in the offing. Should it play out on par with the likes of The Winter Soldier it will likely pass $300 million domestically by next Sunday (if not sooner) and could surpass $450 million overall depending on how it holds on once X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 20.

BvS is still the 4th highest grossing opening weekend ever WW. Civil War barely scraped in the top 10. Talent still won.

They are DC films but they are not part of the DCEU (Man of Steel/BvS). WW Nolan's trilogy made 2.46 billion.

Those Batman movies are way better than anything on the DCEU. So sad Nolan didn't want to do another one and Christian didn't want to be back as Batman either.

And I won't argue that.

But Civil War is better than BvS and MoS. It will outgross the first one by next weekend and there will be more pressed people to come by and try to shade Marvel and its successful movie.

Black Panther and Black Widow and Winter Soldier don't have movies. Spider Man's an in between thing, and the predecessors' films kept declining.
