the new episode was cute
Bailey and that nurse
Alex and the hot doctor
I almost thought Derek and Meredith is gonna have a quickie on the elevator..
Adele is signed on for around 4 or 5 episodes so her storyline must be important, I'm guessing she will die.
and that guy with a knife in his head!!lucky son of a b!tch!
the little boy who needs both legs to be casted and waiting for an ER is so cute i feel his pain
I wish they would have shown Cristina's uncomfortable talk with Callie refusing to be a godmother

And this was my favorite episode of the season. So good. It felt like the first seasons again.
It was refreshing, really amazing. I love when the writers try to do something different, and this definitely worked.
And I'm glad that they finally gave Meredith the screen time that the character deserves. Loved her and Cristina, I loved everything. (I just wished George and Izzie were still there)
Great episode.

I think Thursday's episode was the best this season. I love Meredith as the LEAD role. She made me laugh and I almost cry. Give her at least an Emmy nod already!

^ I've watched the video, and I don't like her voice in it.
I'm excited for the episode though, but I also don't like the fact that it will be focused on Callie. Please show, focus on the original characters instead!

My expectations are low, too. Shonda already said that the musical scenes are part of Callie's fantasy, which means it won't be real, so it's just fun, nothing to do with the story, and I'm not here for that. So I hope, it won't take too much time away from the real drama.
I admit, this season has been better than the others since season 3 ended.

I enjoyed the first episodes of the season, but then the show lost its focus again, so I am not liking this season at all.. I may only still be watching because from time to time, the writers still deliver some great episodes like 'Golden Hour', the one focused on Meredith, because that's what I want: to focus on the main, original characters. The ones I care about.
Though I really liked season 5 (the first episodes were so funny and the last 10 were also pretty amazing) And the second part of season 4 was also one of my favorites as well.
Nothing beats the first two seasons, of course. They have that magic I can't explain. Those were the times.

Yes season 2 and 1 Something weird happens with me. I remember the first three seasons with detail, and amazing moments and speeches. But ever since season 4 everything is scrambled and messy in my head, and I only remember key points in the storyline or epic moments like last season's finale, but that's it. It's messy like the story, and although I still enjoy it doesn't have the magic you talk about.

That started happening to me with season 6. From that season, I only remember the first two episodes (the ones about George's death) and the last two. Everything else...
I used to know everything about the show, from all the episode titles to the storylines like you said, but now I just... don't care, at all.
I truly miss George and Izzie.

I don't know exactly why, but it's always like this. I suppose it's because the season has to end in May, and so they have to make some breaks to be able to accomplish that, maybe.

Me too. I also think people enjoyed the main characters more as interns than as residents, cause there was something funny about them being clueless and Bailey as the scary resident.
Those days...

I think you're probably right. I miss those crazy and funny conversations during lunch, all the competition and the different 'friendships' between them... and the aspect I miss the most is that at the end of each episode, I always finished watching them with a smile. Grey's used to make me feel something.
Grey's Anatomy was such a great show back then.

I think Greys need to focus more on the patients. I don't know about you guys, I loved the show back then -- it made me cry, gasp, and kept me on the edge of my chair -- because of the focus on the patients, and how the main characters worked together to save them. And through that, they gave us an insight into the characters. Now they're just trying to write different plots in, which doesn't really work.
"Golden Hour" was well-praised by fans because it did exactly that: Meredith running the ER and focusing on her patients.

I think it's because Callie is the only one who actually won a Tony award for her singing..

I agree. At the beginning there were themed-cased episodes, and the main characters worked and learned and it sort of gave us insight like you said. It was really moving, even the, umm, simple cases. Now they just do like MIND-BLOWING cases, which end in one of them being badass, but really without substance. #iainthereforthat
