Yes, yes, no, yes, maybe. How exactly would ringtones be considered records? Nobody else counts them in their record sales... Total unit sales, maybe...
Lol thats exactly what I thought... I've never heard about Ringtones and DVD sales being included for record sales and I'm sure it isnt included for any of the other artists on the list...

It is Mariah Carey Music Videos are included in hers
That still doesn't mean it's a RECORD. If you're going to start counting things like DVDs you might as well start counting endorsements such as clothing lines and fragrances. A record is called such because it is an audio recording by the artist of track(s) which are made commercially available. A tour DVD is not this. It has video and the tracks can't be found separately. Ringtones might also include jingles which the artist isn't even singing on. I'll give you mastertones, but why should it count if her voice isn't even on it.
A record is any type of media. You record DVD's, you record songs (it doesn't matter for which format they are being released in, be it for albums, mp3's, ringtones and so on), still a recording.
Any type of stunt (song, video, performance....) that is done, then recorded and sold to the masses will count here. It's not just about the voice, in that case if we go by that t theory, Britney's sales would go down for every songs she has used autotune in. It's not just her voice right?

No, that would be units, I believe. A video recording may be a biography about the artist's life. How exactly is that a record?
No, by how many copies of the video are sold, you can get the DVD of a single video with remixes of songs (well not so much anymore) or get them digitally on iTunes, amazon and so on.
About Beyoncé and Destiny's Child (counted together), I found this on Billboard:
Worldwide, according to Sony, Destiny's Child and Beyoncé cumulatively have sold 100 million units, including albums, physical and digital singles, and music DVDs).
