This being said, I strongly dislike everything they've put out after Body Music so far. I guess their debut album was a fluke, which is quite sad since I was a sucker for their former sound, which appeared as an unique, beautiful, outstanding, neon-pink, exotic flower in this pretty grey landscape of music.

I always thought this was obvious

George never ever wanted to be in the spotlight. Watch their old interviews it's clear. Having said that I think he's doing more behind the scenes than we're aware of and Aluna is defo grateful for him. It's just how it is. I personally don't believe the debut was a fluke either, they clearly have more potential

It was apparently George's decision to take a step back and just focus on production, not the labels or Aluna. It's going to be how La Roux was with their first album. It's really not a big deal. They are a lot more marketable with Aluna as the focus.
