No your point weak. You said because people with mental disorders didn't get nominated, the Oscar committee must either hate them or they didn't deserve noms this year, and you implied the outrage does more harm than good so I know you're insinuating the latter. Now time to explain why this argument is stupid.
1. How do you know that no one nominated had a mental illness?
2. How many mentally ill people are there in Hollywood altogether?
3. What kind of mental illness are we even talking about here? Someone with Down syndrome is not going to be able to play roles convincely outside of a character who does have Down syndrome too.
