October 2nd, 2010-
Hello my fellow ATRLians. (I acually don't expect anyone to read all of this, just know I will be updating the countdown later today.) This past month has been kinda crazy for me and I am going to use that as my cheap excuse on how to get out of the fact that I haven't updated for a few weeks. I have been keeping this countdown for almost a year now (will be a year on Nov.30th) and that is pretty cool I think. Music has been a major part of my life since 2007 and I love that ATRL gives us the oppritunity to express our love for music. Since I think it would be kind of pointless to post the past four entrys I have done, I will just give a kind of summary of what has happened in music for the past month on my countdown.
On the entry for Sept. 5th - Sept. 11th, LTWYL finally hit number one in it's sixth week. TD dropped down to number two after a two week spree at number one. DGUFIL shot up to number three, and "La La La" by Auburn debuted at number seven. (I adore the song so much, but the video was terrible, it would have done much more damage on my chart if it wasn't for the late and terrible video.) The last and arguably most important thing that happened on that date was that "I Like It" graduated. The song had a great run, tallying up three total weeks at number one.
On the entry for Sept. 12th - Sept. 18th, LTWYL gained a second week at number one and "Like A G6" and "2012 (It Ain't The End)" both debuted at numbers seven and ten respectively. LLL falling of the chart and ILI graduating made way for those two songs. Last week, which was the week of Sept. 19th - Sept. 25th, virtually nothing happened besides TD reclaiming the throne from LTWYL. the only othe thing of any importance was LAG6 climbing up to number four.
As I stated eariler, you can expect a update later on tonight for my countdown. Also, I am going to update my list on the front page of songs that have graduated. One last thing, you get a cookie if you actually read this novel of a post
