Aside from the whole Adele & Bieber domination (yes bieber is domating the male field let's not forget that), Chris did very well and even outdid X's first week.

Remember he did it without a proper hit single or any buzz at that, he's got a really solid fanbase and whereas his peers are dropping in sales he's actually doing better. Keeping the male urban singing scene alive single handedly.

His sales are great but let's not oversell it.

He did interviews and promo in the urban market and Royalty ha daughter was also a part of this as well.

I wonder if it's because he hasn't really gotten into any trouble and people are warming back up to him.

These sales are pretty tragic for Christmas besides the Top 4. CB really slayed his expectations. And this is definitely JT's biggest era yet. Purpose might not outsell MW2.0, but it's definitely a much bigger era for the GP. MW2.0 just had the tween girls flocking.

actually, no lol. 21 only had ONE week over 500k; the week after grammys 2012 when it sold 730k, a year after its release!!
second best week was xmas week 2011 when it sold 400k.
21 constantly sold around 100k, like week after week after week...
