LOVE S-K & Chelsea's releases. I think besides the final track Abyss is more stronger on the front though. ![:o](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRLSmilies/redface_zpsfd99364e.gif)

Oh god I don't know any of these albums besides Skylar and Florence. I liked Skylar, he gave me nu-MGMT/Empire of the Sun/Miami Horror/ etc but better since its his "first" album.

87. DJ Paypal – You Got Me
You just completed a video game and this is the celebration music!
86. Skylar Spence - Fiona Coyne
Named after the ****** Degrassi character, this reminds me of pre-Prom King era Saint Pepsi the most off the album.
85. Janine & The Mixtape – When I'm Broken
When that bass kicks in sis is not playing. Perfect song about guys taking advantage of women in bad situations and just overall being assholes.
84. Skepta - Shutdown + Shutdown (Remix)
You can't not like this song. I like Grime relatively but haven't heard anything from it in a while. This is a JAM!!!!! And Idris did surprisingly well on the remix! A song that calls out dudes for being frauds/posers has been needed since like 2011, too.
83. Florence + the Machine – Third Eye
The hook > everything else. One of the more underrated album cuts on HBHBHB I think.
82. Marina & the Diamonds – I'm a Ruin
The best song on FROOT. I think it's the best melody on the album along with the best beat. If the album sounded more like this it wouldn't have gotten so stale for me.
81. Kero Kero Bonito – Picture This
No new KKB album, but this single is enough to hold me over! The beginning reminded me of Zelda or some other video game OST and then the whole song is this really cute vibe.
80. Mya - Do It
This came out a year ago but was just released as a single this year so. Mya sounds so seductive on this, one of the best sensual songs in recent memory; she did that!
79. Jamie XX – I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)
THUGGER!
78. Chelsea Wolfe – Iron Moon
I like how faint her vocals are in the verse, adds to the song but holy **** the production here This song makes me wonder what a light-hearted Chelsea album would sound like.
77. Meek Mill - Lord Knows (feat. Tory Lanez)
Okay, yes Meek is now a meme or whatever but this is a great song. That might be mainly due to Tory's hook, but the verses are great too! Meek has the best intro's in rap for the last couple years (Who has better???) Like... Listen to this. DWMTM is def his best album and one of the best rap releases of the year and this song is the best!

Fiona Coyne you mean
First countdown I see Kero Kero Bonito. My favorite was Build It Up.

Iron Moon ![worship](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/971600d3.gif)
I think Picture This is better than all of their previous album.

No Cities To Love is such a cool album! It definitely punches hard, and I kind of felt like it was more... catchy? But still very effective with message/lyrics/emotion as usual.

Am I crazy or does Janine sound just like Christina Aguilera at times? She like alternates between a Grimes & FKA Twigs and Legend X. It's so weird and cool. Good music too
Good Times is a jam.

Albums: HMs (Part II)
Jenny Hval - Apocalypse, girl [Art Pop, Spoken Word]
Essential listening for any girl in the 21st Century. But anyways, this one is kinda weird even though I still like it. The lyrical inconsistencies stand out like a sore thumb & it not having a typical album structure can kind of hurt it sometimes. But I think she tackles sexual topics better than a lot of others out there.
Nicole Dollanganger - Natural Born Losers [Singer/Songwriter, Indie Folk]
Sometimes I get "What if Cat Power went poppy + had a brighter tone" vibes from Nicole, I liked this save a few tracks. Especially the album cover ![laugh](images/smilies/images/smilies/laugh.gif)
Susanne Sundfor - Ten Love Songs [Art Pop, Synthpop]
Susanne always dropped some okay, not bad albums for her genre but so far it's her best! But... I still think it's kinda overrated :/. It's good, but there's some spots on it that are kinda boring. Overall I like it though!
Title Fight - Hyperview [Shoegaze, Alternative Rock]
I didn't include this in the Genre tags but this is pretty "Emo". A lot of Emo albums have great standouts and then the album cuts suck. but this is like the opposite? Lack of big standouts but consistent.
Waxahatchee - Ivy Trip [Indie Rock]
Katie's back! This time around with a theme of Monogomy and not wanting to partake in it, interesting topic. It got the most stale for me out of any recent releases so... here it is! It's still pretty good.
Erykah Badu - But You Caint Use My Phone [Neo-Soul]
Finally! Erykah dropped her best album in 2010 and has been musically M.I.A. since then, unfortunately (and fortunately), Drake's Hotline Bling sparked her musical wheels up and we got this phone themed mixtape. The theme gets kinda stale after a while but the songs are still great!
Miguel - WILDHEART [R&B]
This was the closest to actually making it onto my final list, but it's weird so it had to get cut. Miguel the most "traditional" out of his (forced) counterparts The Weeknd & Frank Ocean, always got the short end of the stick because of his more traditional sound. But the best vocalist of the trio stepped his game up this time around. I reckon if the album was better sequenced/more consistent it would've been a masterpiece!
Bilal - In Another Life [Neo-Soul, Psychedelic Soul]
His best album since the essential 1st Born Second? Yes! I didn't listen to it much, but it's one of the more consistent and not boring R&B releases of the year.
Autre Ne Veut - Age of Transparency ["Alternative R&B", Art Pop]
This album turned a lot of people off to Autre from what I read, but I liked it a lot This really tests the limits of what you can call "Pop" with the kinda out there melodies and such, but I dug it. Get weirder!
Four Tet - Morning/Evening [Microhouse, Minimal Techno]
This has only 2 tracks, which is probably why it didn't make the cut but they're both really good! He decided to sample South Asian Music to "get back to his roots", as he's stated in an interview. Good choice!
Janet Jackson - Unbreakable [Dance-pop, Contemporary R&B]
Janet's best since All For You, but idk. It's good with no bad songs but a lot of them are just there. The standouts though >>>. I still like it a lot though! It's Janet being Janet and thank goodness JD is gone. If only Mariah would follow suit.
Kacey Musgraves - Pageant Material [Contemporary Country]
Not as good as Same Trailer, Different Park but still pretty good! Female Willie Nelson, fam.
Natalie Prass - Natalie Prass [Pop Soul, Chamber Pop]
Natalie got most of my attention on the songwriting tip, because the songs feel like she's writing from the perspective of different characters but they're packed with first-hand experience emotion. And her having the voice of a 90s Disney princess is just a bonus. Enchanting!
Jessica Pratt - On Your Own Again [Contemporary Folk, Singer/Songwriter]
This album kinda faded for me throughout the year, but it's worth a shout. The melodies are so delicate & her voice is so charming/magical. Kind of a new age (maybe not AS good) Nick Drake vibe with the production, mainly the guitar playing. And did I forget emotional?

From the last songs set, I especially like When I'm Broken, Third Eye (! so underrated), Good Times and Iron Moon. I'm a Ruin is a cute song but I find it terribly overrated.
I love a few of the HMs, Natalie is beautiful, Wildheart is great, and Janet made a really good comeback! Susanne served a good album also, however, while some of the tracks hit really hard, like Memorial or Insects, the others fall a bit flat, as a whole it's slightly overrated, I still like it though.

Third Eye is the best song on HBHBHB.
Janet, Jessica, Kacey, Miguel and Natalie all had good albums.

76. Blood Orange - Sandra's Smile
This kinda gives off.. MJ vibes a little?? Or is that just me?? But I like it! I expected slightly better, but this is still some greatness from Dev.
Around here-ish, are where the songs get REALLY great. i,e. I have all of the songs from here on out as 'loved' on my Last.FM.
75. Junglepussy Pop for You
What type of bop!? She's giving all those "ain't ****" dudes a piece of her mind and letting them know (well, the way I interpret i, also all throughout the album) she wants a man, and is tired of boys.
74. Seal - Life On a Dancefloor
Seal's a great balladeer when he does that, but his best stuff is his Dance music for the most part!!!! The hook is ****ing insane.
73. SHINee - Odd Eye
Don't even know what they're saying, but the first K-Pop artists/group I gave a shot after my introduction being the garbage that is PSY, SHINee impressed me! The R&B influences suckered me in but they have their own thing going on as well. I don't really... Know what they're saying here but the melody is great and the vocals are point!
72. Autre Ne Veut On and On (Reprise)
First time hearing this I though my computer speakers ****ed up and restarted my system. But then I realized all those effects and the unconventional vocal arrangements were intentional. Well... I love Bjork so I got into those quickly. But the production is like... At one point it sounds like he sampled the THX sound effect we all had to listen to on like, Disney VHS tapes and stuff?? Like wtf. It's kind of insanity but minimalist at the same time, I never know what thing to expect in the song at any point but that's a good thing.
71. Earl Sweatshirt Solace
This sounds like one of those sound collage music projects when you put this on. But then it warps into a masterpiece? It's gets super emotional and heavy and then wtf. The best thing Earl's ever done and puts him in the conversation of best rap artists out currently.
70. Future Trap ******
Future has always just been okay to me. Even as influential as he is. But I LOVE this. He's just going on about life in the trap. Street anthem.
69. Kate Boy Human Engine
Kate Boy's best song by a little bit. The last ~50 seconds or so shows they can go on to be more than just another The Knife comparison group.
68. Giorgio Moroder Tom's Diner (feat. Britney Spears)
Britney's best vocals in over 10 years, best song in like... 4? Since Till The World Ends. But anyways. I had to slap myself as a self proclaimed Britney stan because there's no baby voice! It's her natural, deep voice. This song makes me excited in that perhaps she can stop with the fake voice and serve a quality vocal, and maybe disappointed because I know the odds of that are probably slim. Either way, great tune and hopefully Moroder is on B9!!
67. Miley Cyrus BB Talk
Dead Petz is a good album, had to get that out of the way. But this is the best song. It's hilarious but I relate to it, in a way. Not as extreme though. I may think her antics are too much/obvious looking for attention sometimes, but when she nails it she nails it HARD.
66. Lupe Fiasco Prisoner 1 & 2
Lupe This is his best song in years. The production is INCREDIBLE. The police siren sample in the back and a few other things going on just make it completely epic. And as usual... Lyrically you can't complain with Lupe. The last one (two) era's for Lupe he had great lyrics but trash melodies/production; but this time around he nails it!
