Beyonce is in the top but Whitney still is better in everyway.
And Mariah used head voice until 1993 where she started using falsetto.

Mariah's was a bit more clear and connected to the rest of her range, but Beyonce does come close.
Clear?? I found Mariah's head voice (when she used it) to be very light and "airy" It had this bell-like "floaty" sound, Unlike Beyonce that has that crystalline clarity with more head resonance (see holy grail)..which is also why her head voice seems to be more "penetrating..and her head voice is warmer with more heft to it. Mariah may have the ease due to her status as a light-lyric but her head voice simply wasn't as developed as Whitney and Beyonce's which were fully connected to their modal register..The tonal differences can be heard by Beyonce's darker, richer, ringing head voice similar to Whitney and then People like Mariah and Leona that can use both interchangeably but often just use Falsetto.
Absolutely. Her head voice has so much richness and weight to it. What I love about it other than how extremely supported and connected it is, is that she can also manipulate the texture of it for artistic purposes.

I know I would have caught some flack for that..It goes against the grain, I get it, but after really analyzing the evolution of Beyonce's head voice ESPECIALLY within the last 4 years it's something that can be comparable to Whitney's head register during her glory days, IMO..It's not better, but as of today I'd say they're on an even playing field in that aspect.
Ofcourse Whitney's timbre ESPECIALLY her head voice is something that no one will ever conquer, that aside though, I think Bey can give her a good run! Surpass?? not so sure about that! Simply because of performances like these lol

She's indisputably unmatched today, IMO. And I completely agree with you about what has been happening with her voice (most specifically, the darkening of her tone) over the last few years. Listening to her head voice in her teens/20s vs. now, you can really hear a huge difference.

She just completely amazes me the way that she nurtured her voice and honed her abilities and her dedication to that has paid off tremendously.
