Little Boots - Working Girl

Tove Stryke's sophmore effort lands at the tailend of my list. A complete 180 of her debut LP, which is mostly run of the mill Swedish pop, here we see her take on more edgier, electropop with a feminist message, which can be seen predominantly in Borderline in which she is literally suggesting to burn down the patriarchy. Other favourites of mine include Brag, with it's infective flute sounds and how she, well, brags about how great her life is without doing it at the same time? Samurai Boy's drum definitely pulls me in and makes for a very catchy song especially when the synths kick in. I'll leave off my absolutely favourite song for now as that may be coming later.

I listened to a bunch of albums I liked, ranked each song out of 10 and got the average accordingly. I think she was somewhere in the top 20 though, maybe even top 15.
